The purpose of this children’s rhyming story

Pete the Lion is a beautifully illustrated, children’s rhyming picture book about insomnia and ways to overcome it.

Part of the Dare To Be Different picture book series, this story is about the common childhood problem of sleeplessness. The overarching theme of the series is that you might be dealing with a challenge that makes you different from others, but there is still a place for you in society.

The aim of this series is to provide a springboard for parents, carers and teachers to initiate conversations about common childhood issues in a fun and lighthearted way. Each book features a cute animal character who is grappling with being different in some way.
